Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Jr. Windows System Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform 24x7x365 administration and maintenance activities on various Windows servers in use.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Windows administration and troubleshooting of OS/hardware issues (3+ years)
• Experience working with and supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2019 systems and Active Directory in a large (5,000+) user environment (1-3 years)
• Experience Patching/Updating Windows Servers (1-3 years)
• Experience working with Virtualization/Hypervisors/VMs (1-3 years) 

Qualifications: 

• Technical Certification in CompTIA Security+
• Network+, Server+ or equivalent educational requirements/professional experience
• Quest ActiveRoles experience 
• WSUS experience 
• Altiris (Symantec Management Platform) 
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS infrastructure 
• Dell/Cisco UCS physical server management 
• PowerShell scripting experience 

Requirements

• 3 - 5  years of relevant experience
• Must be located in the USA
• Must be willing and able to undergo a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
