WHAT YOU'LL DO
We’re seeking a talented up and passionate product manager to shape the future of our point-of-sale commerce solutions. Collaborating with product, hardware, engineering, and customer success teams, you’ll deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly in-person payment experiences. Your focus will be on enhancing product stability, expanding capabilities, and creating exceptional user experiences that differentiate ABC in the market.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to research, document, and deeply understand customers need around POS devices and solutions to enable delightful in-person payment experiences.
- Deeply research and understand the competitive landscape and translate those insights into differentiating capabilities and features for your products.
- Define product requirements, provide clear guidance on prioritization, and support decisions related to development sequencing. You will also participate in sprint planning, reviews and GTM to deliver against those requirements and the overall roadmap.
- Partner with engineering to understand the commerce platform and technology that our devices rely on and develop plans to build on that technology to support growth and industry-best user experiences. These experiences will include terminals, tablets, mobile POS, Tap to Pay and Chip readers, Biometric payment devices, device security, software, connectivity and accessories.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to develop a compelling roadmap for how we can extend POS solutions to our clients.
- Engage third-party hardware partners and clearly communicate the business value of these new partnerships with Product Marketing teams.
- Use metrics and analytics to guide product optimization and measure success.
- Leverage your technical knowledge of cloud-native platforms, mobile payment technologies, and security protocols to help your team make informed technical trade-off decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 2+ years of product management experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated success and execution track record in building and sustaining scalable technology products.
- Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in productive, healthy debate done with mutual respect and shared goals. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management including driving product roadmaps, client communications, handling escalations, and advocating for ongoing investment in your product.
- Experience working on POS and products with developer interfaces (App deployment, APIs, SDKs); hardware or hardware-related product experience a plus.
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Experience in 1 - 2 of the following areas are nice to have:
- Payments and/or eCommerce
- Mobile device management
- iOS / Android operating system internals
- Hardware build and lifecycle management
- Experience successfully building and launching products

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the United States and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S. based candidates for this position is $72400 -- $75000 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
