As an IT Network Engineer within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

As an IT Network Engineer, you will possess a deep understanding of network engineering principles, coupled with experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure while ensuring the performance, security, and integrity of our systems through proactive monitoring and automation. Job duties may include:

Network Design and Maintenance:
• Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructures to support business needs.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement timely solutions to ensure network reliability and performance.

Firewall Management:
• Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise-level firewalls to secure the organization’s perimeter.
• Analyze requests, prepare and implement security policies.
• Monitor logs and assist in troubleshooting efforts.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across the network and cloud environments.

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:
• Design and deploy secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources.

Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, and Compliance, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures
