Summary: The Financial Analysis Intern will work under the direction of the FP&A team to assist in the development of a comprehensive performance metric baseline and margin improvement analysis work product. The intern responsibilities will include but are not limited to researching and analyzing various data sets and providing reports to senior management of key findings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis of various expense metrics to determine potential cost save initiatives
- Analyze income statement expense entries and research origin of invoices
- Analyze lease agreements to understand cost structures and termination details
- Manage project timeline tracking and deliverable status updates
- Create a PowerPoint presentation outlining final project findings
- Assist with various other FP&A projects
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- College student pursuing a BA/BS or Masters in Finance, or related business discipline
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical ability along with the ability to work individually and as a member of a team
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
- Good organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage time well in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education and/or Experience:
- Junior or senior of a four-year university preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience

The base hourly range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00. The hourly range offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
