The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Infection Prevention Specialist, Peri-op, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the country.
We seek an experienced sales rep to manage a sales territory focused on customer support, growth and strong relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of selling, territory management and portfolio growth.
Account and territory management to deliver sustainable business growth based on targets / quotas
Use data and analytics to inform business planning
Complete essential business planning requirements and maintain sales call data utilizing Salesforce.com
Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities & constraints
Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of sales training program
Leverage hospital network & various contacts to identify expansion and conversion opportunities
Persuade key stakeholders at account to advocate for proposed solutions and products
Relationship management with key clinical and economic stakeholders
Increase mix of NPI utilization
Collaborate with channel/distribution partners to manage relationships and align on mutually beneficial tactics/programs
Offer new and ongoing in-service, education, technical support and troubleshoot product-related issues as needed
Leverage publications and industry guidelines to influence product adoption and standardization
Drive contract compliance and standardization opportunities
Support conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree AND minimum 2 years in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
High School Diploma/GED AND minimum 6 years in a private, public, government or military environment
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Current and valid driver’s license
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Strong understanding of clinical value drivers in the OR and across other sites of care
Customer focused selling and closing
Demonstrated experience in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (i.e. – surgeons)
Outstanding data and analytical skills
Industry affiliations (i.e. – local AORN chapter, APIC)
Proven track record of quota and target attainment
Proven experience in territory management and business planning
Operating room (or peri-op) sales experience with complex selling cycles
Completion of a formal sales training program
Experience using CRM, preferably Salesforce
Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process
Experience collaborating with distribution channel partners
Prior medical device or operating room sales/clinical experience
Additional Requirements
In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities. Work location: Remote in Boston, MA sales territory
Travel: Field-based role with up to 50% overnight travel expected (may vary based on territory)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $141,775 - $173,280, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
