Cigna’s Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Team is seeking a Sales Operations Lead Analyst in our sales operations organization to support our IFP programs. This individual will be a critical part of the sales enablement team tasked with supporting our business process and technology. Partnering with our internal stakeholders in support of all distribution channels, they drive sales process excellence while drawing attention to trends, roadblocks, and emerging issues to ensure a seamless experience. This position is responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on Cigna’s IFP Sales and Broker needs to be able to define high level and detailed requirements, business processes and scenarios that will drive technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our sales and distribution team and serve as the liaison to our operations team and various internal and external partners to ensure brokers have everything needed to support IFP customers and sales processes.
- Partner with IT, project management, digital, and marketing to provide input to align on prioritization of broker, call center, and customer related critical capabilities and strategic roadmap.
- Demonstrate the capacity to synthesize complex information from disparate sources into a clear compelling story that helps the organization commit to action.
- Effectively communicate with constituents and leaders to deliver technical solutions, user interfaces, screen designs, process changes, business flows and user impacts to everyday tasks of the stakeholders.
- Partner with business strategy lead to manage work to ensure priorities are aligned to the business needs, project roadmap, deliverables, and milestones.
- Demonstrated project management experience coordinating across teams, managing deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Participate on critical project tasks including UAT, end user training, and communication of delivered features.
- Document inquiries and tickets while looking for wider impacting trends, reporting them to leadership, and looking for solutions to better our broker experience.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to lead/manage through change. Goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in business, communications, health care, or proven related experience.
- 5+ years knowledge of the health insurance industry, regulations, and rules.
- Experience identifying support gaps, obtaining solutions, and effectively implementing change.
- Strength in gaining consensus across internal partnerships.
- Ability to work within a complex and rapidly changing regulatory environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently including strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
- Experience participating technology projects.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and CRM.
- Experience working with Broker Relations functions including commissions, technology access, and process support.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 69,900 - 116,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
