We are looking for candidates who either have a Personal Lines License or are willing to obtain during our training program (study time and exam provided).

Join our dynamic team at The Hartford Insurance, an established insurance company founded in 1810. We are an exclusive provider of Home and Auto Insurance for AARP members since 1984.

Personal Insurance Auto and Home Agents will be responsible for providing comprehensive insurance solutions, evaluating risk and confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections.

WORK FORMAT

This position is 100% remote. If you reside within commutable distance to Hartford, CT or San Antonio, TX, please apply to our hybrid opportunity.

SCHEDULE

Training Program:

  • Unlicensed Hires: Starts on May 12th and lasts for 12 weeks.
  • Licensed Hires: Starts on May 27th and lasts for 9 weeks.
  • Please note that time off during training is not accommodated.

Training Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern.

Post-Training Hours: Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm local time & every other Sunday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern. 

COMPENSATION

  • Unlicensed Hires: $23 per hour.
  • Licensed Hires: $24 per hour.

We are a metric driven, pay-for-performance, award-winning sales organization. There is potential to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs along with sales incentives and contests. Average monthly earnings are $500+, top monthly earners exceeding $2000.

There is an opportunity to earn up to a 15% shift differential for weekend hours and Spanish-English Bilingual skillset, post certification.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 + years proven track record in sales is required; comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections.
  • Capacity to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, including up to 20-25 inbound calls per day.
  • Ability to maintain all state licenses and terminate all prior carrier relationships as applicable.
