Implementation Technical Specialist
USA, Massachusetts - Full Time Remote
The Implementation Technical Specialist contributes to the overall success of Conversion projects by managing the data analysis/validation and financial reconciliation on the recordkeeping system.
Individual Responsibilities:
Participate in internal and external conversion project team meetings.
Maintain a good working relationship with our clients.
Review plan set up in PARTS+ based on Plan Specifications Summary, Plan Documents and other supporting documents.
Review and analyze both Preliminary and final data from the prior recordkeeper, work with client to address gaps/issues.
Validate and reconcile fund and source mapping.
Coordinate with assigned Project Manager to communicate and confirm Plan and Participant data integrity and analysis findings with Plan Sponsors, TPAs and Financial Advisors.
Oversee and execute Asset Transfer process including final financial auditing of asset transfer information.
Initiate cash accounting/trades and exchanges.
Validate participant vesting, eligibility, service crediting.
Review and reamortize loans.
Assist with processing participant level transactions during conversion.
Ensure process and procedure is followed and deadlines are met.
Attend training as required to stay current with system and product enhancements and process changes or improvements.
Serve as a change leader to support, facilitate, and influence technical improvement initiatives and strategies.
Manage a caseload of smaller less complex projects that support the Open Architecture, Defined Contribution unbundled product as well as support team members with more complex projects and other assigned responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or Equivalent work experience specifically with Defined Contribution plan implementation, project management, or related industry experience.
Strong project management skills; communication, presentation, client relationship, solutioning and leadership.
Advanced business insight and emotional intelligence.
Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment.
Understand Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) compliance issues, possess plan document translation ability and have had exposure to government reporting requirements for DC plans.
Demonstrated ability to apply technical industry knowledge to day-to-day issues and can adapt to changing technology.
Word, Advanced Excel knowledge, PowerPoint, Outlook
Parts+ and Parts.next
Salesforce experience a plus.
Experience with Taft-Hartley Plans a plus.
ASPPA or CEBS designations or courses will be considered very favorably.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in high volume, deadline oriented, fast paced environment.
Candidate must be detail oriented resulting in quality work.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

RemoteSalary range is expected to be between

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
