As an Implementation Consultant at Thomson Reuters, you will work directly with our clients to implement leading software solutions in tax, audit, and accounting. This role involves partnering with accounting firms to enhance their processes through the integration of our AI applications. You will provide expert guidance, helping clients improve efficiency and adapt to new technologies.
This position is available remotely.
About the Role
In this opportunity as an Implementation Consultant, you will:
- Meet with customers to determine business and technical needs.
- Recommend optimal system configuration and business processes based on industry best practices.
- Prepare and present implementation plans for customer approval.
- Manage and execute implementation plans including directing staff resources (both internal and external), evaluating results, creating documentation of newly created processes and managing overall engagement.
- Train client personnel on use of software solutions and business practices.
- Build and maintain client relationships supporting their use and application of Thomson Reuters products.
- Keep product and industry knowledge up to date.
- Manage logistics and administrative tasks for all engagements.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Implementation Consultant if your background includes:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting or consulting or accounting software
- CPA, preferred
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Project management experience with ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Experience with AI applications and/or services
