Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a IBM TM1/Planning Analytics Lead Developer who will be part of the Finance performance management team. The successful candidate will drive the scale out and sustainability of the enterprise planning and analytics environment, support budgeting and rolling forecast processes, as well as perform other business partnering and support activities. 

The ideal skill set would include a finance and/or information systems background, IBM TM1/Planning Analytics expertise to support Commercial and Finance team forecasting and reporting needs. Candidate should have experience leading moderate to highly complex financial planning and business intelligence end-to-end project implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • TM1 Planning analytics lead developer with strong knowledge in IBM TM1/Planning Analytics to support the Commercial and Finance business partners.
  • Design and implementation of large-scale planning & analysis initiatives serving a wide array of cross-functional groups
  • Deliver scalable and efficient planning solutions by supporting all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment
  • Support on-going enhancements and implementation of new IBM TM1/Planning Analytics model by building dimensions, alternate hierarchies, dynamic subsets, cubes, rules, feeders, turbo integrator process and reports within Planning analytics for excel
  • As the TM1/Planning Analytics lead, you will be responsible for maintenance of the current planning systems and identifying automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Develop and Implement the best practices for system processes, new models, enhancements, and training
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key business partners and understand their reporting needs, issues and provide innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • Expertise in developing TM1/Planning Analytics model using Architect and Planning Analytics for Excel
  • 5+ years of IBM TM1/Planning Analytics development experience
  • Experience with IBM TM1/Planning Analytics workspace interface and Pax add-in
  • Completed multiple budgeting and forecasting systems implementations using structured project methodologies and tools that support requirements, design, development, validation, deployment and training.
  • Business knowledge of finance and/ or accounting functions is a plus.
  • Database skills, SQL skills, Snowflake skills and/or strong Excel modeling skills, including TM1 Planning Analytics for Excel reports
  • Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Education:

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field required; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
  • IBM TM1/Planning Analytics Certifications a plus

The estimated base salary range for the IBM TM1/Planning Analytics Lead (Remote) role based in the United States of America is: $126,800 - $190,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
