This position serves as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to the Performance Improvement (PI) Care and Workforce Transformation (CWT) team. The incumbent will work in close partnership with Healthcare Consulting Segment Leaders to support the overall talent needs of the business. The HRBP will be accountable for overseeing day-to-day HR initiatives and processes, as well as shaping future of work strategies for business leaders.

The HRBP will play a highly visible role and serve as a key member of the business unit leadership team. They will have primary responsibility for the integration, development, engagement, and retention of employees within the segment. The incumbent will:

  • Provide strategic advice, counsel, and consultative solutions to business leaders on the people-management aspects of their business.
  • Design and implement innovative approaches to talent programs and policies that align to business goals and objectives.
  • Create strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and process improvements across multiple HR functions.
  • Maintain people data, insights, and analytics across the business to identify trends related to headcount, turnover, performance, hiring, etc.
  • Deliver key insights and solutions to business and talent leadership to address talent trends.
  • Work in close collaboration with the HR Strategy leader, the PI HRBP, HRBP peers, coaches, and employees to manage and deliver end-to-end talent support.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters ensuring a balance in representing all parties' interests.
  • Drive organizational development, team effectiveness, and employee engagement solutions that improve business performance.
  • Lead HR initiatives such as mid-year and year-end processes, compensation, performance management, and guide business leaders to outcomes that align with HR and business strategies.
  • Collaborate and consult on the design and delivery of HR programs with the COEs to deliver effective solutions to the business; put HR strategies into action.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the practice and segment business plans and model including, but not limited to workforce planning, budget, and service offerings.
  • Drive execution of annual HR processes/programs within the segment: Performance management, talent assessment and reviews, individual development planning, and merit and promotion cycle.
  • Work in close partnership with the HR Strategy Leader to deliver proactive talent strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders on Human Capital trends.
  • Take an active role in the execution of other cross practice HR duties such as lead on various workstreams and implementation of HR projects.
  • Will work in collaboration with HR lifecycle teams to provide support in the day-to-day transactions and operations of the business.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Performance Management Process and coaching effectiveness.

Critical experience includes:
 

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with extensive business partner experience
  • Experience working within a consulting environment or professional services is highly preferred. Healthcare consulting industry experience is also highly preferred.
  • Prior experience leading change efforts within a fast-paced, matrix environment, geographically dispersed business unit, with rapidly shifting skills/capabilities required.
  • Organization and team development experience; strong history of delivering solutions and strategies for solving hard business problems.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, analytical capabilities, report generation, and data insights experience a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000-$150,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $132,000-$180,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
