The DCX Home Based Lighting and Controls Designer work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.
The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)
Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient
Salary Range: PHP 45,000.00 - 50,000.00
Job Responsibilities
Perform photometric layouts using AGi32 software
Familiarity with AutoCAD Software
Perform AutoCAD one-line layouts for tape and track lighting
Perform lighting control layouts
Complete energy analysis (Comcheck).
Complete energy code research
Technical Experience
Excellent design, visual and graphic presentation skills.
Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
Proficiency in AGI32 & lighting computational software
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Familiarity with Revit/BIM a plus
Familiarity in 3D modeling programs a plus
Familiarity in graphic design and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
Familiarity with Energy Analysis Software (Comcheck) a plus
Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in team environment.
Additional Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in Lighting Industry: Prior experience in lighting design, controls, or electrical systems is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometrics, and electrical systems.
Project & Estimation Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and estimate from architectural and electrical plans.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to develop creative lighting solutions and troubleshoot issues.
Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in lighting design and documentation.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, lighting regulations, and sustainable design practices, including LEED guidelines.
Work Environment: Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer and reviewing plans/specifications.
