Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of the Information Security Project Management Office (PMO) to lead the planning, execution, and governance of all cybersecurity programs and initiatives. This role is critical to driving delivery excellence across threat management, engineering, GRC, and product security portfolios.
The ideal candidate brings a disciplined project management mindset with a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, operational risk, and executive stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead the Information Security PMO, creating standards, processes, and governance structures for all security-related projects.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting of all cybersecurity initiatives across multiple domains (e.g., Threat Management, Engineering, GRC, IAM, Product Security and others).
  • Implement consistent project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management processes.
  • Ensure projects align with the broader cybersecurity strategy, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with cybersecurity leadership, technology, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Manage a team of security project and program managers, providing leadership, development, and coaching.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure timely escalations and mitigation plans.
  • Drive the creation and presentation of project status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting for CISO and Board-level audiences.
  • Lead cross-functional steering committees and governance meetings.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
     
This Is the Job For You, If You Have:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity or information technology programs.
  • Proven experience building and leading a PMO function in a global and complex environment.
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and portfolio management best practices.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.).
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications strongly preferred, CISM or CISSP a plus.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize work in a dynamic environment, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

The salary range for this position is approximately $190,000-$235,000 base annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
