Head of Sales - National Dealers

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Head of Sales- National Dealers to lead and expand our dealer network in the Bath Remodel Division. This executive-level role will be responsible for developing and executing dealer growth strategies, optimizing dealer sales performance, and strengthening partnerships with private-label dealers and big-box retailers. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to foster a high-performing, results-driven sales culture.
The Head of Sales- National Dealers will play a critical role in recruiting and managing dealer relationships, ensuring alignment with company-wide sales objectives, and collaborating closely with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR/Staffing.
Responsibilities
Dealer Network Growth & Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand and optimize the JBR dealer and private-label network.
- Recruit new dealers for targeted territories and markets to drive national growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with high-volume dealer executives.
- Lead dealer support training programs (JBR University courses) to enhance dealer sales performance.
- Act as a key leader for dealer meetings, including the annual Dealer Council Awards Conference.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Drive dealer sales performance by setting targets, tracking progress, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee big-box program management and recruitment for new retail opportunities.
- Manage strategic pricing negotiations to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure alignment with national lead generation strategies in collaboration with the VP of Marketing.
Leadership & Performance Optimization:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team including the National Sales, Technical Support/Warranty, and Channel Marketing teams.
- Conduct team meetings and 1-on-1 coaching sessions to support team and individual growth.
- Establish and monitor sales KPIs, conducting quarterly and annual forecasting for dealer performance.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and HR to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to maximize ROI on dealer sales programs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and customer insights to drive sales growth.
- Manage Costco relationships at the Senior Manager and executive levels.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 12 years in Sales, with at least 8 years in senior management or executive leadership roles.
- Proven track record to develop and scale a national dealer network.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing large dealer accounts.
- Experience working with big-box retailers and private-label partnerships.
- Expertise in leading, managing, and developing large, cross-functional teams. Ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation is based on experience; $170,000+ and bonus potential
