Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
The objective of the Head of Network Forecasting is to create and manage forecasts at all key supply chain nodes from vendors, to fulfillment locations to cross-border transportation to domestic injection points to domestic returns facilities. Responsibilities: - Forecast Orders, Units and Inventory Levels at all key fulfillment locations by month, week and day - Partner closely with internal global logistics team to share forecasts, review results and troubleshoot variances weekly - Perform analytics to answer questions that will lead to improved KPI performance - Perform analytics to increase efficiency across the supply chain including optimization based fulfillment logic, order affinity and forward inventory positioning on shore or near shore. - Present Forecasts, Strategy and Plans weekly to executives - May manage 1 or more individuals Qualifications: - 6+ years in a Logistics Planning, Inventory Planning or experiences in related Analytics or Technology roles - College Degree Required, MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management preferred - Cross-border experience preferred - Thorough understanding of the connectivity of all points within a supply chain and the impacts one location has on another in an ecommerce business - Strong Analytic Skills with experience using advanced statistical functions in Excel - Ability to source and organize disparate data for operational use and conversion of reporting and tools into scalable technology applications - Experience prototyping Inventory Optimization Techniques - The ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize opportunities and minimize risks - Strong commitment to continuously improve - Comfort working in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment where established processes may not exist Redeeming Characteristics: - Insatiable curiosity and the desire for answers - Extremely KPI driven - Willing to have a point of view and share it with business partners, peers and executives - Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as business changes - Ability to thrive in a start-up environment - Committed to building scalable processes and industry winning technology - Extremely effective presentation and communication skills while effectively utilizing supporting materials and applications - Clearly understands the relationship between their work and the priorities, objectives and financial performance of the company - Bias towards TechnologyWe rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.
