About the team & role
As the Head of Insurance Operations at Headway, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming mental healthcare accessibility. You’ll lead and scale a mission-critical team, shaping and optimizing insurance operations that impact providers, patients, and payers nationwide. You’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation in a high-growth environment, building strategic partnerships, and crafting solutions that ensure seamless, scalable processes. You will:
- Lead Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee and optimize all aspects of revenue cycle management, including collections, claims processing, benefits and eligibility verification, patient billing, payment reconciliation, and roster management.
- Optimize and Scale Insurance Operations: Drive the continuous improvement and scalability of our insurance operations, while managing the day-to-day activities that ensure the seamless functioning of our core insurance business.
- Grow and Scale the Team: Lead, mentor, and expand a team of high-performing operations professionals, driving success in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with senior operational leaders at health plan partners, using these relationships to align on shared goals and drive success in key performance metrics.
