Responsibilities
Atlassian is hiring a senior leader for our global revenue finance team. In this role, you will report to the Head of Revenue & Corporate FP&A and lead the revenue team responsible for revenue forecasting, strategic investment decision analysis, and business insights development. This is a highly visible role that works closely with the executive team and the sales and strategy organizations.
In this position, you will build, mentor and lead a high performing, globally distributed team that owns the company top-line (website traffic through revenue recognition) and provide thought leadership to our executive team.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Lead a global revenue team of 25+ employees, including hiring, mentoring, and providing clear direction on strategy, goals, and development.
Partner closely with executive leadership; including the CFO, CRO, and other senior stakeholders, to drive revenue strategy and decision-making.
Lead revenue forecasting processes, including long-range planning and monthly/quarterly processes.
Own internal messaging on revenue performance.
Communicate to all audiences across the company, including Board, C-suite, and the executive leadership team, the Atlassian revenue strategy and priorities along with rationale supporting decisions to grow profitably.
Play a leadership role in shaping the long-term strategic narrative for internal and external partners.
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
15+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 7 years in leadership positions overseeing revenue finance teams.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify the complex, drive decisions, and adapt to fast-paced dynamic environments.
Ability to operate at all levels, with an eye on the strategic big picture, while able to be hands-on when needed.
Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing distributed teams.
Experience providing thought leadership and leading presentations to the executive team.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA is a plus.
Prior experience in the technology industry required, PLG and Enterprise Cloud/SaaS is a strong plus.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $234,900 - $313,200
Zone B: $211,400 - $281,900
Zone C: $195,000 - $260,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
