​This role is categorized as remote. This means the successful candidate may be based anywhere in the United States and is not expected to report to a GM worksite unless directed by their manager.

The eMobility Solutions Analyst within GM Energy will help develop cross-company strategies and execution to deploy the necessary eMobility solutions to enable GM’s sales and customer experience goals. Through internal and external collaborations, this role has a direct impact on driving adoption by creating an integrated charging network and ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate in cross-functional project teams by identifying key assumptions, collecting data, and building requisite economic and operational models along with sensitivities to enable thoughtful fact-based decision-making
  • Support and/or lead EV charging transaction execution through application of strategic, financial, negotiation, and project management skills
  • · Help design and execute long-term integrated payment solutions, that are intuitive and consistent across partners
  • Manage post-transaction partner relationships to ensure proper execution of and accountability for committed deliverables
  • Lead business case development for deals, which involves identifying and interfacing with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, research industry and value chain dynamics and landscapes
  • Focus on improving the customer experience around EV charging for home, public, dealers, and fleets
  • · Synthesize an engaging story based on insights and analyses including building short, clear PowerPoint decks and present quickly and clearly to key decision-makers

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of Financial/Economics experience and/or degree
  • Conversant in EVs with a willingness to become a subject matter expert
  • Key traits: curiosity, insight, determination, engagement
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong modeling and financial valuation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and manage tasks within a broader project
  • Work with a sense of urgency and prioritize of projects
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
  • Proactively work to resolve issues and move project tasks forward
  • Ability to relate project with business objectives and results, integrate with business purpose
