The Global Segment Marketing team is chartered to drive customer intelligence into actionable insights helping increase wallet and mindshare across all Markets served by Agilent. As a team, our mission is to lead the development of end-market strategies and the execution of cross-functional market initiatives with the goal of penetrating existing and emerging markets, maximize market share, revenue, and growth.
The Global Environmental Segment Manager role will be to characterize end marketing opportunities, perform market analysis, work with customer facing teams and the product divisions to define the market and customer needs for the environmental testing industry. In addition, this role will work across the organization as the environmental customer champion to help define and then support marketing programs and promotions targeted to this market that drive awareness, lead generation and revenue. This role will also be responsible for working with external customers and customer facing teams to build relationships with key opinion leaders, initiate and support collaborations and represent Agilent by taking on a leadership role on relevant external committees and societies while also working actively with regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities include:
In this position you will have intimate knowledge of the Global Environmental market (including PFAS), the customers, their needs, regulations and the technology that enables them to do this work. Responsibilities include:
Identify key market trends and help develop enterprise strategy with corporate development for the environmental testing industry globally.
Partnering with the global and regional marketing teams to help define and then execute our marketing strategies, messaging, and sales programs to drive product demand and revenue.
Working collaboratively with the regional sales to provide sales tools, training, and market insights to drive market penetration for environmental testing.
Working collaboratively with the Solutions Units and Product Lines to provide feedback on market trends, new opportunities, new regulations, and new product requirements.
Working with the regional market development managers to align sales focus and develop customer collaborations to support the end-market strategy and execution.
Working with the finance and business intelligence teams to determine market sizing and emerging opportunities.
Taking an active role in working with key industry and regulatory agencies to influence regulations and test methods.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in related field of science
Knowledge and experience in business administration and executive communication is desirable
Knowledge of the PFAS testing market & key opportunities is critical.
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior sales, support, or marketing in the environmental or analytical testing industry
A proven track record and developing and executing market strategies to exceed business goals.
Experience selling, supporting, or marketing chromatography, mass spectrometry and/or spectroscopy solutions is desirable.
Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed organization across multiple geographies.
The ability to work independently to execute projects according to strict timelines and budget.
Experience performing market analysis, sizing and developing business cases is desirable.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English and any other languages.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time in the position within the N.A region & globally.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least November 28, 2024 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $130,240.00 - $244,200.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
