Job DetailsThe General Surgical Sales Representative will sell and promote Securos Surgical branded products including - general instruments, sutures, head lamps & suture-based products such as such as extracapsular procedural products. This individual will represent Securos Surgical with both customer/clinic and MWI Sales facing engagements. MWI Sales engagements include ride-along with Territory Managers, Customer events and interactions, in-person and virtual MWI sales rep training (TMs, CERs, BDS, SAMs, etc.) primarily supporting the general practice market. They will work closely with the Securos team, including marketing, product managers, ortho sales, education, instrument repair, and inside customer service teams. The General Surgical Sales Rep will be the liaison for MWI Sales relating to sales training, tactics, promotions and conversion efforts.
- Drive U.S. sales with the general practitioners.
- Train sales reps on products and ride with them to visit customers
- Provide sales activity reports, sales intelligence and customer feedback to Mgt.
- Answer technical questions from customers (veterinarians and/or veterinary technicians,
- Territory Sales Managers, Inside Sales Rep’s and Key Account reps,
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key accounts, developing the insights to ‘profile’ their individual characteristics
- Build and maintain relationships with MWI Sales Representatives.
- Attends and assists with sales meetings, trade shows and training programs.
- Communicate with Sales/General Manager on client issues, product feedback and customer requests.
- Make outbound calls to gather market data, conduct surveys, source new customers, and increase sales.
- Contribute to the data base of competitive market products.
- Continually seek and utilize further product training, market knowledge and reference materials, to include intra-operative observations, when available.
- Follow up on all outstanding customer issues or questions in a timely manner.
- Work with National Accounts Group to identify opportunities and, along with the SAM, establish customer relationship/connections.
- Track and support customer engagements in MWI’s CRM Orbits
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as sales, business administration, finance, marketing, animal science, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program. Three (3) years’ sales experience in the human health or veterinarian surgical field is preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to provide superior customer experiences.
- Position is located in MA, 25% travel is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Resolve client issues in a timely manner.
- Keeps informed of technological advances in digital marketing
- Lead the efforts to drive online sales
- Recognizes/identifies appropriate and effective technological applications for use by the company; applies internal technology to effective advantage.
- A valid drivers’ license and good driving record are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SalesForce

Full timeSalary Range*$72,200 - 103,290*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
