System is hiring a General Manager of Healthcare and Life Sciences to strategically map and drive all growth within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors for System. This will be the most senior commercialization hire to date and will report directly to the Founder & CEO. 

System is headquartered in New York City, and this is a fully remote role with extensive business travel.

 

You Will:

  • Leverage System’s science, technology, and initial commercial validations to develop commercialization strategy within the healthcare and life sciences sector and build, scale, oversee and lead all business within the healthcare and life sciences.
  • Sharpen and own the healthcare products and services portfolio, including associated P&L responsibilities
  • Drive customer and market segmentation and identify and secure key lighthouse customers
  • Lead all go-to-market strategies and initiatives
  • Integrate and coordinate with relevant product development squads (AI, engineering, product & design) in a matrixed environment, bring customer needs and insights to product development teams to shape product and GTM strategy; determine when products are market ready
  • Build, structure, and manage a remote GTM team
  • Represent and build attention for System in the healthcare and life sciences community, spending significant time out in the field interfacing with customers, identifying needs and opportunities for the platform and determining how to position, price, and market them
  • Report directly to the Founder & CEO; sit on leadership team

You Have:

  • Successful startup or larger company 0 to 1 experience
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare and/or life sciences leadership with a very robust network within the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem.
  • Product minded and creative in driving applications of new technology to meet customer needs
  • Strong background in consultative sales preferably with experience with a data/API product
  • Well versed in AI, ability to speak credibly about emerging technologies
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MD/ PhD /MPH and/or MBA
  • Leadership experience building and managing teams in a matrixed environment
  • The ambition, hunger, and desire to build and scale an organization of global importance
  • Systems thinker, passionate about System’s vision and aligned with System’s core values

The salary range for this role is $225,000 to $375,000.
