We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager / Owner as we expand our Credit & Lending products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fintech industry, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record of managing product profitability. As the P&L Owner, you will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and success of one of our Credit & Lending products, ensuring it meets customer needs and market demands.
What you will do:
- Create and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion
- Meet financial targets for the credit or lending product
- Work closely with Product to test and refine innovations and improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations, to ensure success
- Continuously monitor and analyze KPIs and financial metrics to make informed, data-driven decisions
- Maintain expertise in the product’s field, including industry innovations and competitive landscape
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Deliver regular financial and strategic updates to executive leadership
What we want you to have:
- At least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in business line ownership, product management, financial services, or fintech
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting financial targets, with a focus on P&L ownership
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- Expertise in financial analysis and modeling
Base salary range: $225,000- $250,000 annually. Individual pay is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and other job-related reasons.
