About role
As our Financial Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial health and driving strategic decisions. You will manage financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and compliance, while providing insights that guide the leadership team. Working closely with department heads, you will ensure financial efficiency and support our continued growth. This role entails close and systematic collaboration with the Group and responsibility for timely group reporting and coordinating any integration activities within the finance area. This role is perfect for a proactive financial professional ready to develop and contribute to a dynamic IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Polish and Group regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor department-specific budgets.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team, contributing to business growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures to ensure the company’s financial health.
- Coordinate the work of a small internal finance team as well as an external accounting team.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, ideally within the IT or tech sector.
- Solid financial background, preferably Big 4 Audit experience combined with business acumen and experience.
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with financial software ( previous experience with ERP implementation is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (a professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is a plus).
Salary: 20 000 - 25 000 PLN net + VAT/month B2B (depending on knowledge and experience)
