We’re actively seeking a talented Field Director, Strategic Accounts to join our Strategic Accounts team.

The Field Director, Strategic Accounts is responsible for the active and ongoing development and management of Pacific Life’s strategic distribution partnerships. Management of assigned firms will be done through personal visits, strategic planning, event management and participation, and proactive calling. The candidate will coordinate strategy with home office and sales leadership at assigned firms, and act as a liaison between assigned firms and Pacific Life sales teams to maximize the sales of Pacific Life’s products. Must be team oriented with ability to work effectively with multiple internal departments within Pacific Life’s Consumer Markets Division.

 

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with key broker dealer partner firms
  • Responsible for marketing Pacific Life strategies through travel to home offices, regional and national conferences, sales desks, and industry events
  • Coordinate with internal Partner Solutions Strategic Accounts counterparts on new product approvals, marketing material submissions and approvals, partner sales data, and overall administration of assigned accounts
  • Work with Pacific Life sales management to identify actionable sales opportunities at our partner firms
  • Participate in home office discussions regarding competition, product development, sales and marketing strategy, and account management administration
  • Manage budget and administration of assigned accounts and remote office location
  • Significant travel required

 

The experience you bring:

  • A four-year college degree is required
  • Series 6 or 7, and 63 are required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience in the annuities/mutual fund industry with a focus on relationship management
  • Industry designations a plus (ie: CFP, CRPC, CIMA, etc)
  • Very strong verbal, presentation, and writing skills required
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, decision making, and time management

Compensation:

The base pay for this position is $125,000. In addition, this role is eligible for commissions based on production.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
