  • Develop and maintain a communications strategy and editorial calendar, mapping audiences for the variety of needs encompassed in both AI area and engineering teams

  • Review essential and sometimes confidential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness

  • Coordinate communication efforts with cross-departmental technology teams, and other communications and branding teams in Red Hat

  • Work closely with executive management teams and departments (product marketing, engineering, IT) to stay informed of developments and trends within the organization

  • Assist with the development and implementation of new and existing communication vehicles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, professional writing and editing, journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5-8 years related work experience

  • Willingness to learn and understand enterprise technologies at a high level; deep technical knowledge is not required but helpful

  • Proficiency in office suite tools, preferably G Suite

  • Excellent command of English language and grammar

  • Ability to translate business and technical concepts into clear, concise language

  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic distributed team, while demonstrating flexibility and initiative
