Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.

What you’ll be doing:

You'll partner with our brand team to maintain consistent identity across all events, using data from past gatherings to inform future decisions. Working closely with the events director and wider marketing team, you'll lead structured brainstorming sessions to innovate our event experiences while ensuring measurable attendee engagement.

  • Planning & Execution: Execute Tinuiti sponsored, earned, and owned events; assist with all facets of event planning and logistics, ensuring flawless execution to deliver exceptional speaker and attendee experiences. Taking charge of event logistics, you'll manage everything from venue selection to day-of execution. You'll use Wrike to keep all moving parts synchronized, from timeline management to resource allocation. Your keen eye for detail will ensure smooth operations, from registration systems to promotional strategies.

  • Vendor & Partnership Management: You'll build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating competitive rates and managing contracts. Working alongside our partnerships, sales, and I&G teams, you'll create frameworks for collaboration that drive mutual success. You'll maintain a database of preferred vendors and venues, using past performance data to make informed decisions.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Financial stewardship is key — you'll oversee event budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. You'll manage the events calendar and corporate card certifications, ensuring transparent communication about budget status with leadership. Using a quantitative eye - you’ll prepare ROI evaluation of events and be accountable for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of events, including leads and other metrics.

  • Collaborate across marketing: Consult and partner with the wider marketing team (including sales, employee comms, PR, demand gen, product marketing, brand design, speakers) to develop pre/during/post event plans to support overall marketing campaigns and business objectives.

  • Love the details: Find efficiencies, implement best practices, and support event projects from across the function as assigned. Work cross-functionally, define and execute on the program goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, speaker plan, collateral, event website and registration, and event logistics. Create a project plan by event and ensure that critical deadlines and deliverables are closely monitored.

  • Be curious: Foster and nurture relationships across Tinuiti’s marketing, sales, and client teams. Gather information (including industry trends, competitive intelligence and business goals) and make event marketing recommendations, incorporating program budget, potential effectiveness, event metrics, logistics, calendaring, etc.

  • Elevate Tinuiti events: Offer recommendations to improve the user experience for event attendees throughout their entire journey— communications, registration, live engagement, swag, and post-event gifting.
