Overview

Our State Government Practice Group (SGPG) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Implementation Project Manager/Technical Lead to provide project management and SME support on an ERP implementation project for a potential state government client. You should have experience leading technical efforts to implement ERP and/or finance/accounting solutions.

You will apply your knowledge and experience to support our state government client in implementing its chosen ERP system (Oracle Fusion/Cloud). This will require providing advice and guidance to our state government client and working in collaboration with our client, the ERP system integrator (SI) vendor, and Oracle. You will bring a mix of project management capabilities, technical experience, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong teamwork capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Travel expectation: Extensive travel to the client site is anticipated, so being within commuting distance is required. The expectation to support future engagements/projects (once the above-described project ends) is up to 50% travel to future client sites.

You Will

As the ERP System Implementation Technical Lead for the technical workstream, you will:

  • Serve as project manager / lead for the technical workstream.
  • Provide technical advisory services for design and implementation of the ERP/finance system.
  • Facilitate technical project meetings.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the client.
  • Develop technical project deliverables.
  • Communicate technical workstream status to the client, team members, and others, including the facilitation of client meetings.

As an SGPG team member, you will:

  • In partnership with our internal team, support business development opportunities and help respond to state government opportunities related to ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with other firm practice groups and practices that can bring ERP system knowledge.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts and leading and participating in prospective client business development meetings.

You Have

  • Extensive experience with Oracle’s SaaS Accounting ERP suite.
  • Oracle SaaS ERP configuration and implementation experience, with at least three (3) implementations prominent on your resume.
  • Three or more years’ experience managing technical teams to implement large-scale ERP/finance systems.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft (MS) applications including MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner.
  • Current PMI/Scrum/Agile or related certifications (preferred).
  • Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and related processes/artifacts.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to use problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to identify project risks/issues and develop/communicate recommendations to address them in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with diverse teams.
  • Ability to draft client-facing reports/communications in a professional/constructive manner.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $105,000–$125,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
