Entertainment Talent and Event Specialist (Hybrid)
Full-time, based in Midtown Manhattan, NY – Assigned to Apple Entertainment Account (Currently 3 days a week in the office, but could be moved to 5 at any time and the role also requires some nights and weekend event attendance)

 

Are you passionate about television and film? Ready for exciting challenges in a team-oriented environment? Join us as an Entertainment Talent and Event Specialist within Apple (Entertainment). You'll expertly handle travel requests via various channels.

 

Your role? A pivotal one. You'll oversee accommodations for employees, crew, talent, and executives. Bridge global hotels to our clients, recommend perfect fits, negotiate rates, manage contracts, and ensure guest comfort. Events vary from 10 to 200 guests, demanding meticulous attention, adaptability, and privacy commitment. An extraordinary backstage pass to the entertainment world awaits.

 

As an Entertainment Talent and Event Specialist, you will

 

  • Source hotel availability based on event specifications. Provide properties, pricing, and anything else needed to the client to help make their decision.
  • Track budget registrations and approvals
  • Negotiate hotel rates and contracts
  • Manage hotel deposits and payments
  • Manage day-to-day rooming lists for all groups
  • Maintain existing and create new relationships with vendors globally
  • Utilize and leverage client-preferred hotel agreements in negotiations
  • Ensure technology data integrity
  • Track and report hotel room nights, spending, and issues

 

About you

 

  • Prior event and/or travel experience with high-end clientele
  • Knowledge of entertainment event types and associated considerations
  • General knowledge of the entertainment and celebrity environment
  • The drive to keep up in a very fast-paced environment 
  • The ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Networking skills and can build relationships with vendors
  • A calm demeanor while working through high-pressure situations
  • Agency experience in travel, meeting, or event management is a plus

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Entertainment Talent and Event Specialist is between $70,000 and $80,0000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
