About the Role

As the Director of Engineering: Adoption, you will lead the engineering efforts behind Cloudflare's dashboard and cloudflare.com, and will play a central role in helping Cloudflare grow 5x over the next 5 years. Alongside your Product Management counterparts, your mission is to enhance customer and prospect engagement with our products and the company as a whole. You'll tackle challenges such as:

  • Enhancing the Cloudflare Dashboard: Can we provide product teams with a powerful platform to deliver exceptional user experiences? How do we maintain a tech stack and design language that empowers rather than restricts innovation? How do we manage contention such that it is possible for a growing organization to contribute to this mission together?
  • Driving Adoption and Upselling: How can we educate customers and prospects ranging from hobbyist developers to Fortune 500 enterprises about our offerings, encourage them to upgrade, and promote onboarding of their colleagues and friends? How do we measure this progress and make decisions when tradeoffs need to be made? How do we enable stakeholders from outside of the product and engineering organizations to contribute to this mission …
