SUMMARY: Assists in the administration of various employee benefit plans such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enroll new employees in benefit plans.
- Process status changes such as terminations, life events, salary updates, etc. with applicable carriers.
- Process open enrollment elections with all carriers.
- Track transactions in benefit administration systems or via reporting.
- Maintain records confirming transactions.
- Perform eligibility and billing audits as needed, and work to correct discrepancies with client or carrier.
- Maintain vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations.
- Assist account management teams in resolving eligibility issues or providing back up for transactions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
- Must have a basic knowledge of group insurance products.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The base salary range for this position is $46,000– $60,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
