At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Project Manager supporting Indian Health Service, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on EHR Project Manager joining our team to manage electronic health record projects for cybersecurity in support of IHS EHR Modernization efforts.

HOW AN EHR PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in an assigned project.

  • Manages and contributes to project schedules, budgets, risk lists, communication plans, and lessons learned.

  • Manages and directs efforts of cross-competency teams. Accounts for and reports manpower status for team/site.

  • Prepares progress reports and briefs on project status and milestones in accordance with the Contract Management and Task Order Management Plans and subsidiary plans.

  • Responsible for team's delivery of services for project effort to include testing and risk management.

  • Analyze user and stakeholder needs to determine alignment with business and functional requirements for a variety of electronic health record systems and applications.

  • May work closely with Subcontractors.

  • May supervise others.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts in business, project, IT management, or a related field, or years of equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of project management experience.

  • Deliverables experience, specifically relating to services for project effort to including testing and risk management.

  • Experience contributing to project schedules, budgets, risk lists, and communication plans.

  • Experience managing and directing efforts of cross-competency teams.

  • Experience preparing progress reports and briefs on project status.

  • Ability to analyze user and stakeholder needs to determine alignment with business and functional requirements.

  • Ability to travel <25% of the year, if needed

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with and knowledge of electronic health record systems (EHR, Pharmacy, Immunizations, Practice Management, Revenue Cycle Management, Clinical Quality Reporting) highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of the Indian Health Service and/or Department of Veterans Affairs environments.

  • Preferred - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - Project Management Institute (PMI)

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which requires residency i the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
