The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Engagement Program Manager will be responsible for driving KeyBank's Business Impact and Networking Groups (KBINGs) to create strategies that enhance employee and community engagement, generate new business opportunities, augment Key's recruiting efforts, and provide career development opportunities and employee education. Oversight of these strategies requires successfully communicating the strategy across Key and to the KBINGs, establishing and measuring goals and outcomes, adhering to legal and compliance standards, mitigating risk, and representing Key within the communities we serve. Additionally, this position requires effective collaboration with stakeholders to ensure buy-in, accountability and the ability to measure the effectiveness of these strategies. This individual will also support Key's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy and other internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop KBING strategic framework and operating model inclusive of execution, measurement, benchmarking, and progress reporting
- Achieve leading employee participation in KBINGs
- Engage with executives and senior leaders, advising on DE&I strategies and initiatives related to KBINGs; leverage an outside-in perspective and competitive intelligence to inform Key’s DE&I program and priorities
- Serve as the advisor to and advocate for Key’s KBINGs including collaborating on enterprise and cross-KBING initiatives and events, providing guidance and governance, chairing KBING meetings, gathering and communicating best practices
- Develops a process to establish new KBINGs; ensures leadership structures are contemporary and provide opportunities for ongoing career development
- Manage all aspects of communications and tools for the KBINGs including planning, executing, reporting in partnership with stakeholders
- Partner with lines of business to leverage KBINGs to advance workforce, workplace, and marketplace objectives
- Understand results and effectiveness of programs and initiatives through analysis of metrics and ongoing assessment of efforts; leverages metrics to increase awareness, share lessons learned, and make recommendations for ongoing enhancements
- In partnership with Human Resources, develop ongoing process to leverage KBING members for recruiting ideas, recommendations, and referrals to establish an active pipeline of talent

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience Qualifications
- 5+ years Management experience or experience leading cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams required. Experience in managing employee groups on a national scale. (preferred)
- 3+ years experience in managing or creating diversity programs and initiatives is required. In lieu of diversity management experience, experience in large-scale culture change initiative will be considered. (preferred)

Physical Demands

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
