Key Lime Interactive is searching for a qualified and dynamic REMOTE Director, UX Strategy & Business Development to join our awesome team!

We are known for helping Fortune 500 companies understand their user’s needs by mapping out their customers’ journeys, developing behavioral personas, usability testing, and co-designing new products with the user top of mind using proven research methodologies. As our Director, UX Strategy & Business Development, you will lead strategic initiatives to drive business growth through targeted sales strategies, user experience (UX) research partnerships, and client development. This role combines expertise in business development, UX research insights, and sales operations to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will understand UX research, strategic sales processes, and customer relationship management.

Salary is base plus bonus/commission.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development and Sales (50%)

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create tailored proposals and solutions that address client needs and objectives.

  • Lead the development of detailed sales pitches, proposals, and contracts to secure business deals.

  • Collaborate with clients to align services with their business objectives, ensuring a high-value proposition.

  • Track, measure, and optimize sales processes to meet revenue growth targets.

  • Partner with research, operations, and product teams to align business development efforts with company-wide initiatives.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership platforms to enhance brand visibility.

  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and performance.

UX Research Strategy and Client Partnerships (50%)

  • Leverage knowledge of UX research methods to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on UX research strategies and their alignment with business objectives.

  • Support internal teams by integrating UX insights into business development and project proposals.

  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships by providing strategic guidance and post-engagement follow-ups.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Factors, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with at least 3 years in leadership.

    • Proven track record of achieving sales growth targets and managing enterprise accounts.

    • Experience in UX research or a related domain is highly preferred.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify growth opportunities.

    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients.

    • Proficiency in using CRM tools, project management platforms, and productivity software.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings, industry events, and team collaborations.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project or client needs.
