Job Description

The Director, Programmatic is responsible for driving the strategic direction for their brands and managing a team of digital and programmatic practitioners bringing to life successful campaigns across clients within the dentsu portfolio of agencies including Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the programmatic and digital landscape and has worked in and knows how to navigate multiple platforms. This person will enhance operational success of clients’ campaigns and overall business objectives. This person is expected to employ and continually define state-of-the-art techniques to drive excellent campaign performance through a thorough understanding of digital technologies.

Qualifications

Key Accountabilities: 

  • You will define strategic direction of new and existing accounts
  • Manage client relationships, priorities and deliverables through agency leadership 
  • Effectively manage team of programmatic and digital practiioners with a focus on leading, delegating and prioritizing team deliverables, fostering individual growth across team 
  • You will ensure the team follows defined process for campaign management across digital and programmatic channels, including excellent hands-on-keys activation work 
  • You will manage monthly investment and revenue tracking across portfolio of clients 
  • You will communicate frequently with agency leads and client to connect on team performance, campaign health, and strategic growth opportunities
  • You will frequently contribute to thought leadership projects 
  • Constantly staying up to date on the latest dentsu activation and internal tools  
  • You will assist leadership with new business pitches 
  • Establish quarterly plans that focus on account growth 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience within the programmatic and digital industry  
  • You have experience with management of a team
  • You have experience across all digital media channels
  • You have the ability to eloquently speak to internal and external partners
  • You have proven experience managing client relationships
  • Consistent exceptional project management and mathematical skills
  • Proficient in programmatic technology, platform, and partner solutions

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
