JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role will directly interact with the (Americas) Chief Customer Officer. As a senior team member, you will work closely as a trusted advisor, lead strategic projects, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the CCO has robust support that enables effective leadership. This individual will also oversee daily operations in partnership with senior managers and department leaders and perform tasks such as maintaining, planning, and coordinating everything related to the business operating model of the CCO Org, QBRs and meetings, and scheduling facilities, as well as develop and building on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with CCO and other peers on special projects.

What you'll do...

  • Coordinate closely with the customer office teams to drive internal interlocks and ensure smooth handovers of new clients.

  • Ensure that the team executes against Commvault's sales engineering, professional services, and customer success processes while building and maintaining value through each process step.

  • Under the guidance of the CCO, oversee and manage strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution.

  • Assist and communicate with Directors, peers, and AVPs in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

  • Oversee onboarding and enablement efforts.

  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.

Who you are...

  • 8+ years of professional experience, including significant team management experience

  • Enterprise sales engineering experience in the B2B software sector, ideally in the cyber security, cloud ecosystem, analytics, ML, and/or AI spaces

  • Strong technical knowledge related to data resiliency, cyber security, data science, analytics, distributed computing (on-premises and cloud), ML and their applications and constraints in the enterprise

  • Experience assessing current team members, interviewing prospective employees, and onboarding new personnel.

  • Analytic, data-driven mindset for setting up and measuring team staffing and other key delivery metrics

  • Demonstrated experience being a change agent and creator/innovator of new processes, assets, and strategies

  • A bridge-building communication style, with excellent written and verbal skills, to collaborate proactively with the many teams at Commvault

  • Strong ambition and an appreciation for “reach” objectives, where the goal is to make a maximum impact with minimum resources

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$165,500 - $287,500
