Director of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
United States
Overview
National Debt Relief is seeking an analytical, data-driven Director of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to join our Marketing team. This high-impact role reports directly to the VP of Performance Marketing and Growth and is responsible for driving meaningful improvements in visit to quote and revenue per visit (RPV) across our entire digital experience—including landing pages, the core site, and the digital enrollment journey.
You will own the CRO roadmap, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution. Your work will span both marketing and product disciplines—developing and prioritizing testable hypotheses, and collaborating with design, engineering, and analytics teams to launch high-impact experiments.
This role is more than just landing page testing. You'll lead optimization across the full user journey, playing a key role in shaping a seamless, high-converting digital enrollment experience. You’ll regularly present testing strategies, insights, and recommendations to senior marketing and product stakeholders, backed by clear data and a strong point of view.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the CRO roadmap, aligning testing priorities with business goals and growth opportunities across the site and enrollment funnel.
- Analyze full-funnel user behavior across landing pages and digital experiences using tools like Google Analytics, AB Tasty, Sigma, and Hotjar to identify conversion opportunities and performance gaps.
- Develop clear, testable hypotheses to improve revenue per visit (RPV), visit-to-quote, and other key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with creative, design, and content teams to translate hypotheses into high-performing, on-brand user experiences.
- Work closely with developers to implement A/B and multivariate tests using AB Tasty, ensuring accurate setup, QA, and tracking.
- Launch, monitor, and analyze experiments, partnering with analytics to measure statistical significance and understand lift drivers.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor site performance, testing impact, and ROI in real time.
- Present testing strategies, learnings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders across Marketing and Product, influencing roadmap and investment decisions.
- Stay on top of CRO trends, tools, and UX best practices, bringing fresh ideas and techniques to continuously evolve our approach.

- Ability to build relationships with all levels of leadership and provide constructive feedback.
- Collect and present complex projects, data, and analysis to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
