What You'll Do
Location: Remotely from USA
Report to: VP, Business Controller
- Oversee global consolidations, including US GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) on new business ventures
- Collaborate with business and functional leaders, including FP&A and cross-functional Controllership team such as Accounting Operations, Revenue, SEC reporting, Tax, internal controls to coordinate information flow and drive accurate and timely close submission to Corporate/HQ to drive a high quality Close process
- Co-lead M&A Close integration to comply with SOX in a high growth business environment
- Oversee monthly and quarterly management financial reporting deliverables, and will be key liaison with external auditors
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over the procure-to-pay cycle, including robust process to ensure upstream data impacting expense and accrual accounting is accurate and complete
- Oversee the preparation of various flux analysis (e.g., income statement, balance sheet and cash flows).
- Collaborate with FP&A and business teams to analyze variances related to actual vs forecast
- Develop KPI to track various stages of Close process to provide visibility of Close process and optimize Close operations
- Lead special projects such as M&A integration, ERP migration, new accounting and reporting standards implementation
- Support ad hoc Controllership projects that arise due to our rapid growth
What You Bring
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- BS or equivalent in accounting or finance
- CPA
- A mix of Big 4 and industry experience managing global consolidations and financial systems function at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companies
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, NetSuite) and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle
- Strong business acumen and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with M&A integration
