What You’ll Do

The Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations will lead the strategic and operational direction for a core part of the employee experience at CoreWeave. This includes IT Support and Operations, AV Technology, Enterprise Applications, System Engineering, and Client/Endpoint Engineering. In this role, you will build and lead a high-performing team to ensure the company's IT infrastructure, applications, and services run smoothly and meet the evolving needs of the business. The Director will closely collaborate with internal colleagues and external vendors to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and deliver outstanding service in all IT areas.

  • Responsible for a broad portfolio of Core IT services, ensuring the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure align with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Lead the IT Support and Operations, Enterprise Apps and System Engineering, Client/Endpoint Engineering, and AV teams, ensuring high-quality support and service across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, driving continuous improvement and encouraging an IT culture focused on employee experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization, such as Product and Engineering, People/HR, Legal, and Security, to understand needs, define end-to-end processes, and deliver comprehensive solutions. 
  • Lead the compliance and audit efforts within IT to ensure the right controls, monitoring, and discipline are enforced in processes and operations. 
  • Lead on M&A activities, including due diligence, integration strategy, and execution.

Who You Are

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Equivalent experience or a Bachelor’s degree is acceptable. 
  • 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 10 years in IT leadership roles, with significant experience in Infrastructure, Security, Operations and/or Support 
  • Proven track record in building and leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills to inspire and guide a high-performing team
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Good communication and customer management skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and enterprise software.
  • Extensive experience in leading IT teams across engineering, support, and AV functions, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence.
  • Deep technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, hardware, and AV systems and experience managing large-scale IT support operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence collaborators at all levels and drive projects involving multiple functions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000-225,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
