Role Overview:
As the Director of Infrastructure Engineering, you will lead the strategic integration and management of our Infrastructure Engineering division. Reporting to the CTO, Domains, this role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, develop, and manage the Infrastructure Engineering team, ensuring their growth aligns with our business needs.
- Build and implement roadmaps and requirements for business and engineering initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop team OKRs and provide career growth plans.
- Ensure proper operation and reliability of our data center and co-location facilities as well as cloud infrastructure.
Infrastructure and Cloud Services:
- Oversee the use of public/private cloud and virtualization technologies, ensuring optimal utilization and scalability.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal availability, engaging in active breach management and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
Technical Expertise:
- Understanding of private cloud (OpenStack) and compute, network, and storage enterprise architectures and implementations is desired
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
- Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and high availability.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in infrastructure and cloud services.
Collaboration:
- Support various organizational groups with security audit requirements (ISO 27001, SOX, SOC 1&2), disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in Infrastructure Services, optimizing application security, corporate security, and fraud prevention measures.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration including data center operations and hardware maintenance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
- Proven experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong project and program management skills with the ability to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
- Willingness to take on various responsibilities and wear multiple hats, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

The base salary range for this position is $174,300 - $205,000 USD for US residents and $152,200 -$180,000 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
