Your day at NTT DATA

The Director, HR Data and Digital is responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation and management of Human Resources technology solutions. This role will oversee the development, enhancement and maintenance of Human Resources systems, ensuring alignment with strategic Human Resources intiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources Operations, this role partners with HR and IT Leaders to deliver an innovative, cohesive global HR technology platform, ensuring the implementation of well-conceived and designed systems. To be successful in this role, the Director, HR Data and Digital must possess exceptional leadership qualities and technical aptitude, solid management experience and a strong commitment to service and accountability. This role requires a passion for delivering high quality service, deep interest in building strong relationships with peers and leaders, a collaborative, decisive and flexible decision-making style and the ability to lead in a fast paced, growing organization.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the development, implementation and ongoing analysis of HR Technology solutions aligned with Human Resources and overall business strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional partners to identify, understand and translate business requirements, provide recommendations and to implement or enhance HR systems.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring effective planning, direction and administration of HR systems.
  • Execute an HR Technology strategy, driving innovation, continuous improvement, employee engagement and organizational performance.
  • Create a more engaging and efficient HR technology ecosystem to provide an elevated employee experience across the globe.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance data-driven decision-making and improve HR operational efficiency.
  • Implement processes and procedures to ensure data integrity, security and data privacy within HR solutions.
  • Oversee testing for enhancements, upgrades, patches and releases to ensure business continuity.
  • Identify, track and report key metrics and performance indicators to monitor progress against HR goals. Utilize analytics to identify trends, challenges and opportunities then recommend, develop and implement solutions.
  • Ensure HR Technology solutions are in compliance with global employment laws and regulations.
  • Foster a strong relationship with key functional leaders by providing thought leadership to address organizational challenges and opportunities.
  • Monitor the global HR Technology budget, implementing cost-effective programs and solutions.
  • Monitor HR Technology Team SLAs, tracking workflows to ensure timely, accurate and exceptional customers service throughout the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of HR, including but not limited to Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, HRIS, HR Services and Compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to present findings, solutions and proposals in a clear and effective manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning for communication and training.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations for each country / jurisdiction where employees work and reside.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with peer leaders and individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be highly confidential.
  • Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field required.
  • Master’s degree highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday including implementation and configuration.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience managing business process definitions, calculated fields, reports, dashboard, and integration design
  • Experience integrating and harmonizing HR systems and tools as a result of organizational changes and M&As preferred
  • SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience managing HR Systems for a global, fast paced, growing organization.
  • Must have project management experience; Project Management certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Perform work during US business hours and time zones.
  • Perform work during international business hours and time zones as necessary.

Work conditions & other requirements

  • Travel required 15% of time.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 175,000.00 - $250,000.00.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
