Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage integration of cross-capability teams including planning, investment, and media, to deliver seamless execution of client projects

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with the client by ensuring the successful execution of deliverables and putting forth recommendations related to applied strategy using their industry knowledge  

  • Provide expertise on strategic planning programs, and engage a cross-functional team to deliver high levels of overall service and delivery 

  • Anticipate issues relative to direct marketing campaigns on topics including creative, timelines, measurement, and results analysis 

  • Ensure all members are meeting deliverables, and resolve all issues both with client and internally relative to all facets of client engagement 

  • Ensure collaboration among all agency departments; foster great teamwork.

  • Develop relationship with key senior stakeholders via consistent 1:1s and/or live connections

  • Oversee the analysis of program results and dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications 

  • Develop trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and collaborative internal and external Agency Partners 

  • Manage client’s expectations around deliverables and ad-hoc requests 

  • Represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client  

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of client brands, brands equity, consumer definition and motivations  

  • Lead overarching media strategy and ensure is aligned and meets client objectives  

  • Partner with clients to solve business problems; view strategic goals in a broader business context 

  • Implement efficient and effective solutions to complex problems  

  • Keep current with industry trends, media business and tools – buying systems, research, resources and associations  

  • Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.  

  • Establish and maintain communications process with clients and agency service teams for each piece of business within the team  

  • Direct the development of client presentations and ensure communication is clear and compelling, while telling a wholistic story throughout

  • Lead client presentations – adapting communications style to relevant audience, linking communication to audience’s concerns and perspectives 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field  

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in media planning and account management 

  • Experience working in an agency in a client services capacity

  • Knowledge of digital media channels, inclusive of Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, etc., and performance media principles  

  • Understanding of traditional media, inclusive of Broadcast, Radio, OOH, etc.

  • Unparalleled client service

  • Collaborative and able to successfully bring people from different disciplines, internally and externally to achieve desired outcomes  

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375 / year

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
