Job Description
Under the guidance of Executive Director, Global Security Group, the Director will act as the lead and consultant for physical and facility security across the enterprise with the following responsibilities:
Lead the development of physical security strategy, demand planning, prioritization, and standardization, as well as execution of same. Additionally, is available for deployment of new services and operational support across the enterprise.
Lead three Associate Directors of Regional Security, three Contractors and an Intern and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Team.
Oversee all budget matters for the Contractors and Physical Security COE.
Direct and guide the three Regional Security Command Centers (North America / Latin America, Dublin and Singapore) in day-to-day operations which include monitoring & responding to Security System alarms/alerts and ensuring system health for all the company's sites in across the enterprise.
Coordinate with the Integration Management Office concerning Mergers and Acquisitions.
Define, author and/or inspect physical security man-guarding operational guidelines, technology standards, policies, required upgrades, maintenance, and day to-day management of all company physical security through outside partners/contractors, system integrators or internal resources.
Manage the design and implementation of integrated standard physical security systems for company sites across the enterprise.
Collaborate with the internal IT Support Organization to ensure that the support model for physical security systems is streamlined and consistent across the enterprise and that established acceptable Service Level Agreements are met.
Facilitate license management for Enterprise Physical Security Systems to ensure competitive pricing and continuity of system deployments in each Region.
Assist with management and negotiation of annual support contracts with external vendors to ensure consistency of support in region and consistency across the enterprise.
Direct external relationships to ensure the viability of all physical security systems, legacy and new, with the goals of maximizing investment through life cycle management, as well as minimizing disruption in business operations as the result of failed or improperly configured systems.
Provide system solutions to address specific security concerns identified through internal customer requests and inspections.
Develop and maintain operational processes to ensure our company's Global Security Standards are maintained and modified as needed.
Develop and administer processes for physical security vulnerability assessments and inspections for various guard operations and security systems (e.g. barriers, access control, guest management, video surveillance, intrusion detection, duress, emergency notification.).
Conduct and execute product research, feasibility studies, project planning, tracking, quality assurance, as well as handling overall vendor communication and management.
Leverage internal and external benchmarking to identify leading industry practices to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and deploy reports and tools to audit Access Control, Guest Management and Video Surveillance Systems user permissions and report compliance/noncompliance to Global Security management.
Oversee the administration of security system user accounts, roles, and permissions based on authorized requests for access to Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Guest Management Systems, cross the enterprise.
Coordinate with COEs for Global Security Group program delivery across all Regions.
Provide ongoing internal user training and support for Access Control, Guest Management and Video Surveillance Systems. Develop and deliver periodic internal webinars for user community.
Provide system solutions to specific security concerns identified through internal customer requests and security inspections and initiate pilot programs.
Collaborate with various areas of the business to develop strong cross functional relationships.
Oversee and coordinate the GuardTek Tour Reporting System implementation across the enterprise.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
10 years of security or IT project management experience in industry or government
Prior managerial and leadership experience
Management experience regarding security and safety, including IT and facility management.
In-depth knowledge of the state-of-the-art security equipment standards and technology encompassing all physical security products.
Advanced knowledge of information, personnel and premises security processes and procedures and ability to develop and maintain appropriate levels of security.
Knowledge of and ability to employ internal controls and to enhance business strategies for the purpose of detecting, delaying, assessing, responding and preventing loss and protecting assets.
Proven ability to operating within a matrixed working environment.
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Experience and Skills: Qualified Certified Protection Professional and Physical Security Professional preferred.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
