Job Overview – Digital Platform Tooling Admin
The Digital Platform Tooling Admin will support our organization as it continues its growth and expansion within various Atlassian tools. This position requires tooling support ownership, tooling expertise, and collaboration with Product Owners, Software Developers, Scrum Masters, IT, PMO, and other teams across the organization.
This candidate will also work with other forms of technical tooling to assist in automation, orchestration, monitoring, and other Information Technology digital platform needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, administer, and maintain the organization’s Atlassian suite of tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and configuration of settings
- Manage and maintain Atlassian settings and configurations (permissions, roles, access, schemes, workflows, projects, templates, etc.)
- Create enterprise-level dashboards that span departments or aggregate data across multiple programs
- Provide Atlassian training, documentation, and guidance for users across the organization
- Configure and maintain Jira projects, automations, and rules
- Troubleshoot issues reported by teams
- Configure and maintain integrations with other tools like Slack or Git repositories
- Provide governance, oversight, and license management across various tools
- Monitor usage patterns and recommend process improvements to optimize tool efficiency
- Ensure adherence to Jira best practices and company-wide standards
- Additional responsibilities may be applicable
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, and Bitbucket within a software development organization
- Ability to define goals and work independently towards them, as well as helping to define the goals for your team members
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong capability to multitask and handle multiple work efforts at once
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate proficiently (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external teams, across all layers of the organization, including virtual team members across multiple time zones
- Desire to learn
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of SQL querying
- Experience with Dynatrace and Ansible
- Experience with PowerBI and developing PowerBI reports
- Experience with PowerShell, APIs, and API calls
- Background in the insurance industry
Education and Additional Details:
- Required Education/Experience: 5+ years of relevant technical education and/or work experience (completed 4-year bachelor's degree in technology is a plus)
- Required Travel: Up to 10%
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
- Location: This position reports to Chicago on a preferred hybrid schedule, but candidates based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada (i.e. remote/virtual) will be considered.
Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, we are open to remote candidates.

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $57,000 to $89,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
