As a DevRel Community Advocate at Autodesk, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing a thriving developer community around licensing platform and our technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to represent and advocate for the developer community, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed. Drawing from experience, you will apply best practices to foster engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among our partners (i.e. developers, product teams, and stakeholders).

Responsibilities
Community Building: Establish and foster a strong sense of community among developers by organizing meetups, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Apply proven community-building strategies to create an inclusive and supportive environment
Advocacy and Communication: Be the voice of the developer community within Autodesk. Actively listen to their feedback, pain points, and needs, and effectively communicate these insights to internal teams and stakeholders. Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with technical teams to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, guides, and code samples that address common developer challenges. Advocate for adherence to guidelines to ensure high-quality technical integrations within the community
Community Platform Management: Advocate, moderate and contribute to the community platform (e.g., Stack Overflow, Slack channels, or developer portals) to encourage discussions, Q&A, and collaboration among developers
Developer Feedback Loop: Work closely with partners (i.e. product and engineering teams) to relay community feedback and insights. Influence licensing platform development by advocating for features and improvements that align with developer needs
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in developer relations, community management, or related roles
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Passion for building relationships with developers and engaging in technical discussions
Commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive developer community

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $89,900 and $155,100. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Equal Employment Opportunity
