Position Overview

We are seeking a DE&I Business & Industry Impact Initiatives and Reporting Manager to partner with the Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This position will play a crucial role in implementing Sephora's DE&I Heart Journey Strategy and leading industry impact initiatives while championing data analytics and reporting efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

DE&I Business Impact (40%)

  • Partner with internal DE&I Committees across business areas to provide strategic guidance and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Support coordination and execution of company-wide DE&I initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to upskill Sephora's ecosystem of brands, suppliers, and charities using DE&I training content and insights

Industry Impact Leadership (30%)

  • Lead and expand Sephora's DE&I Industry Impact programs, including the Equity Advisors and Partners program
  • Manage the Mitigate Racial Bias in Retail Charter coalition in partnership with Open to All
  • Oversee Sephora's participation in external DE&I certifications, surveys, and industry recognition programs

Data Analytics and Reporting (20%)

  • Create and maintain comprehensive DE&I reports and dashboards across the organization
  • Analyze HR data to provide actionable insights for employee-facing DE&I strategies
  • Assess in-store experience data to inform client-facing DE&I initiatives
  • Track and report progress on company-wide DE&I goals to senior leadership

Strategic Leadership (10%)

  • Research and analyze DE&I business case findings and insights
  • Provide benchmarking data to key stakeholders
  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement of DE&I initiatives

 

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in DE&I Management/Supplier Diversity and/or DE&I data analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communication, Marketing, Analytics, or related field preferred

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of managing company and industry-wide DE&I initiatives
  • Strong program management abilities with experience handling multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellence in cultural competency and cross-cultural communication
  • Advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident presentation abilities for senior leadership audiences
  • Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Tableau experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,865.00 - $143,545.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
