The Role

The LCV Dealer Fleet Coach will work closely with the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Sales Centres to enhance their sales performance and customer service excellence in the LCV sector. The role is working for Stellantis and involves training and coaching dealer sales teams to increase their capability, confidence, and effectiveness in selling LCV Stellantis products to fleet customers. The role will also include monitoring dealer performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering tailored support to achieve the manufacturers fleet sales targets.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is results driven and has a passion for achieving sales targets. If you are experienced working within the automotive industry and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with dealer teams and manufacturer internal stakeholders, we want to hear from you!

Other Key Skills include:

• Strong knowledge of the UK LCV market, customer needs, and fleet operations.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering training and coaching to dealer or sales teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to motivate and inspire dealer teams.
• Ability to analyse performance data and develop actionable improvement plans.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.

Desirable:
• Experience working for LCV manufacturers or in a multi-brand dealership environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and dealer performance reporting tools.
• Training or coaching qualification.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Coaching

    • Develop and deliver structured training programmes to LCV Professional Centre teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
    • Provide one-to-one coaching to dealer sales staff, focusing on overcoming individual challenges and building confidence in selling to fleet customers.
    • Organise workshops and role-play scenarios to develop fleet-specific consultative selling techniques.
    Performance Management
    • Analyse dealership sales performance and fleet penetration reports, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
    • Set performance improvement targets for dealerships and track progress against these metrics.
    • Collaborate with regional managers and dealer principals to address underperformance and share best practices.

    Product Knowledge and Positioning
    • Ensure dealer teams have expert knowledge of manufacturers LCV products, including their features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
    • Provide insights into market trends, customer demands, and the manufacturers value proposition for fleet customers.
    • Support dealerships in communicating financing options, fleet offers, and service packages to meet business customer needs.

    Field Support and Dealer Engagement
    • Conduct regular visits to manufacturers LCV Sales Centres to deliver on-site coaching and support.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with dealers to identify local opportunities for fleet sales growth.
    • Support dealerships in preparing for customer presentations, fleet tenders, and vehicle demonstrations.

    Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and share regular progress reports on dealer performance and training outcomes with manufacturers stakeholders.
    • Maintain effective communication with key internal departments, including fleet sales, marketing, and product teams.
    • Provide feedback to manufacturer on dealer challenges, market insights, and customer expectations to support continuous improvement initiatives.
