ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables efficient data processing and analytics across the organization. Your work will focus on developing robust data pipelines that integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accessibility, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions that support business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into storage and analytical systems.
Optimize database performance, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of structured and unstructured data.
Implement data quality measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all datasets.
Automate data workflows, monitoring pipeline performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide scalable solutions.
Leverage AWS services (e.g., Glue, S3) for cloud-based data processing and storage.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools.
Familiarity with AWS services for data management.
Knowledge of data integration techniques and best practices.
Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and automation.
