Ginkgo Bioworks is seeking a strategic and hands-on CRM Manager to lead our HubSpot CRM system. In this critical role as an individual contributor, you'll translate business needs into system requirements and personally implement solutions, owning this system as the key architect. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you'll manage an existing, robust HubSpot environment with hundreds of active users across marketing, sales, alliance management, finance, and program delivery teams.

As the ideal candidate, you combine deep HubSpot expertise with strategic thinking and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality. You'll be the go-to person for all things HubSpot, driving system optimization, user adoption, and business value. You are someone who is excited to work cross-functionally as the central point of contact among diverse business units, engaging with leadership and users to translate needs into actions, and creating synergies across the enterprise. 

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic CRM Leadership
    • Translate business challenges into HubSpot based solutions
    • Maintain a HubSpot development roadmap and effectively communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain documentation of HubSpot based processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices
  2. Hands-on System Administration
    • Serve as the primary HubSpot administrator, overseeing configuration, data integrity and user management
    • Implement custom solutions to address business challenges
    • Integrate HubSpot with other systems as needed
  3. Reporting and Analytics
    • Develop insightful dashboards for commercial and program team leaders to help them manage their respective lines of business
    • Conduct in-depth analyses of sales performance pipeline health and revenue trends
  4. Sales Enablement and Support
    • Provide ongoing support to sales team members, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring alignment with sales processes and tools
    • Provide training and support to users on HubSpot CRM usage, best practices, and functionality

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in CRM administration, sales operations, or similar roles
  • Expert-level HubSpot knowledge, with experience in administration, development, and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations
