About the job
This position is needed to support the development, implementation, and management of the crisis management function at Twilio. This position, reporting to the Director, Operational Resilience, will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our operations can respond and recover from disruptive events while minimizing the impact on critical business processes.Â

Responsibilities
In this role, youâll:
- Support the development and and implementation of a crisis management framework to support operational resilience framework to identify, assess, and manage risks that could potentially disrupt business operations.
- Collaborate with business units to assess their operational resilience requirements and define strategies to enhance resilience.
- Lead the design and support the implementation of business continuity plans, disaster recovery procedures, and crisis management protocols.
- Establish metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness of operational resilience initiatives.
- Develop and deliver crisis management tabletops, notification testing, simulations, and drills to evaluate the effectiveness of operational crisis management plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to disruptive events.
- Prepare and present reports on operational crisis management initiatives, progress, and share results with stakeholders.
