Job Summary:

The Creative Operations Associate Manager is focused on the agency operations within Allstate’s internal Creative Center of Excellence; an in-house creative agency embedded within an established multi-billion-dollar enterprise. This individual brings thought leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement, account and project management and a focus on efficient, high-quality execution. Partnering with several areas of responsibility across marketing and the creative teams; this role will manage process workflow and optimization, as well as ongoing resourcing planning and allocation. The Creative Operations Manager will report to the Senior Creative Operations Manager and is part of a creative operations and project management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations for creative development.
  • Maintain knowledge and status of all ongoing projects and forecasting based on upcoming work in the creative department.
  • Manage creative department schedules and workloads along with creative leads. Rotate creative teams as needed to address business needs and career goals.
  • Maintain close interaction with Creative and Marketing leaders to resolve under or over allocation of creative staffing across agency portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative leadership to regularly evaluate and prioritize creative requests, escalating stop-doings as needed.
  • Document key creative operating processes and identify gaps, pinch points and opportunities for project efficiencies, pivoting and steering the team when needed.
  • Creates opportunistic, tangible pathways for disparate teams in service of painting the overall project picture, connecting the dots and moving work forward. 
  • Continue to modify and implement new workflows utilizing available project management tools that enables Marketing leads, Producers and Creatives to seamlessly collaborate and track work. 
  • Driver of and high-touch user of Project Management tools for resource management, tracking projects, managing timesheets and communicating project data.
  • Gathers input for configuration and delegates tasks to project managers to support process improvement (Wrike) within project-level workstreams. 
  • Track, analyze and optimize the resourcing process and tools to output an efficient and effective weekly resourcing report and larger monthly/quarterly report for leadership review.
  • Ability to project manage high priority or complex projects as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter individual, problem solver, passionate about great work, highly organized with the ability to multi-task and a strong ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong agency experience of 7+ years in Operations, Project Management Creative Production and Account Management, with a focus on managing creative teams.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot communication, logistical, scheduling challenges, navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately and mitigate associated challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and techniques for creative output types (video, digital media, social, print).
  • Proven robust project management skills and cross-functional leadership
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Marketing, Production, Creative, Design and/or advanced applied analytics and data-driven marketing is a plus.
  • Experience working with automated agency workflow systems and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Compensation offered for this role is $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
